Beginning her career 13 years ago as a teller, she has since held roles in Retail Loan Servicing, Mortgage Loan Closing, Commercial Credit Analysis, and most recently served as a Real Estate Deputy Auditor. Her well-rounded background provides a comprehensive understanding of the lending process from start to finish. “We’re excited to welcome Kierestin to the HFCU team,” said Cathi Kisseberth, CEO. “Kierestin’s financial institution experience and her genuine commitment to building strong relationships make her a valuable addition to our team. Hancock Federal Credit Union, established in 1938 by 13 local school teachers, was founded to provide accessible savings and lending opportunities at a time when traditional banks did not focus on consumer loans. Originally serving the Findlay City and Hancock County school communities, the credit union expanded its field of membership in 1980, allowing for continued growth in services, assets, and membership. From operating out of a private home to multiple branch locations, HFCU has grown to serve nearly 9,000 members today and remains guided by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by its membership.
